How to Make Lists Online
Being strongly visual (and not so strong on auditory memory), I rely heavily on lists. Writing them all down on scraps of paper or sticky notes can become terribly messy and disorganized, though, so I like to keep it all online.
You can use online list-making apps for anything from scheduling your day to making a grocery list. Some integrate with your mobile devices so you can manage and add to your lists on the go.
Online lists may be a good option for someone who:
- loves the thrill of checking off finished items
- has frequent access to a computer and/or smartphone
- won’t forget something if it’s not written down immediately
Some of the more popular list-making applications include:

Ta-Da Lists (shown above): Free, simple to use, and only takes a minute to sign up.

Google Tasks: Also free and can be added to Gmail. I find that it involves a bit more clicking than Ta-Da Lists, but some people may like integrating all of their Google apps.

Remember The Milk: Involves a steeper learning curve but integrates with Google Calendar, Blackberry, Twitter, iPhone, Gmail, and more.
