		<description>Are you having a hard time understanding what people are saying or just hearing everything in general?  I thought it was across the board for me until I realized that I could hear the tiniest noises just fine.  It drove my mother crazy that I never responded to her calling my name while my dad never had a problem, and she never believed me when I tried to explain that she just happened to have a voice at a certain pitch that blended in with background noise.</description>

		<description>I hope you feel better soon! I wonder if what I think are hearing problems are related to auditory processing. (Some of it, anyway... being 44 does contribute an age-related possibility of hearing degeneration.)
