Oh, Sandy, what an ordeal!. I hope you are holding up okay.

I've signed Katie's guestbook and I'm sending healing blessings her way, and yours. It must be very scary to go through this with a close friend. I feel very hopeful that Katie's fierce spirit will carry her through.

I've been thinking about Katie a lot lately, too, and my heart races a little bit when I get the CaringBridge email updates.

When I saw her photos here, my first thought was that if it was any other blog, she would probably throw a fit. Somehow I don't think she'll mind that you're using them. ;-)

As I'm sure you recall, Katie is the reason that we became friends on Twitter. I think both of you are pretty fabulous! xoxo.

Sandy,

What a great post for Katie! I have been following the hospital journal for a couple days & her sister has been really dedicated to keeping all of you posted.

I was happy to hear that she is now out of isolation, is that correct?

Hang in there Sandy ~ you know you can contact me anytime you need to chat. I have observed how worried you've been & the stress can be exhausting, so take a moment to smile:-]

Like you told me a few days ago...Katie is a fighter!! ♥hugs & blessings to Katie & all her family & friends.

Clay, thank you so much...that really means the world to me that you reached out to Katie. Her sister will read your message to her, so she'll hear your words. It seems like we're getting through to her!

I signed the guestbook. I do hope she gets better, she sounds like a nice person, and I don't want you to lose a friend.
